Read more **Responsibilities:** Product Strategy & Localization: Translate local market needs, Japanese business customs, and user feedback into actionable product requirements and specifications. Roadmap & Backlog Management: Define and prioritize the Japan product roadmap, user stories, and feature backlog in alignment with local business goals. Bridge & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary bridge between US-based global product/engineering teams and Japanese business leadership. Operational Adoption & Enablement: Drive AI tool adoption among internal recruiting teams (approx. 20 agents) through user documentation, enablement strategies, and training. Requirements 3+ years of PdM, Technical PM, or Product Owner experience with B2B SaaS or AI/digital platforms. Deep domain understanding of Japanese business customs, enterprise workflows, and HR/recruiting expectations. Strong technical acumen to converse fluently with software engineers and evaluate technical feasibility. Proven track record of gathering requirements directly from users or enterprise stakeholders. Japanese: Business/Native (JLPT N1 equivalent) for local negotiations and specification drafting. English: Business-level for technical and roadmap alignment with US teams. Nice to haves While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following. Technical background as a former Software Engineer, Data Scientist, or Solutions Architect. Experience in Staffing, HR Tech, Search/Matching Algorithms, or B2B SaaS localization. Experience working across multicultural (Japan–US) engineering environments.
