Frontend Engineer (Tokenized Deposit Business)

Job Overview 1. Background We aim to build the infrastructure for the era of on-chain finance by bringing AI-native, programmable payment and treasury management platforms into real-world use. We are developing use cases leveraging blockchain technology, including tokenized deposits and stablecoins. As the business expands, frontend development is becoming increasingly important in shaping the overall user experience. To strengthen the frontend of our products and further improve UI/UX quality, we are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our team. 2. Mission Your mission is to develop a high-quality frontend that supports the user experience of next-generation on-chain financial infrastructure, enabling applications that are secure, intuitive, and scalable. While the Tech Lead will make final decisions regarding design principles and architecture, you will be expected to actively contribute to technology selection and continuous improvement initiatives, working together with the team to shape the product’s UI/UX. 3. Key Responsibilities You will primarily be responsible for frontend development for our next-generation financial systems business, including the following: Frontend Development Develop frontend applications primarily using TypeScript and React Design and implement UI components Develop application logic, including state management, routing, and data fetching Integrate frontend applications with backend systems through APIs Implement unit, integration, and E2E tests to ensure product quality Performance and Quality Improvement Improve web performance, including rendering and bundle optimization Continuously improve accessibility and usability Design secure UI architectures and data flows Product Development and Continuous Improvement Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and Product Managers to translate requirements into effective user interfaces Participate in specification discussions, requirements definition, and prototyping Improve design systems and component libraries Propose improvements to development processes and frontend architecture Scope of Changes to Responsibilities: Duties may be changed in accordance with the company’s business needs. 4. Today, financial institutions and corporations manage transactions using separate ledgers and systems, which often results in data inconsistencies, duplicated reconciliation processes, and manual verification work, significantly reducing productivity. By leveraging distributed technologies such as blockchain and interoperable verification technologies, we aim to create mechanisms that allow multiple parties to share trusted data in real time, thereby eliminating these structural inefficiencies. In addition, we are working to establish the regulatory, technological, and operational foundations required to support next-generation digital money infrastructure, including tokenized deposits and stablecoins. Our goal is to build financial infrastructure that seamlessly connects real-world economic activity with on-chain environments. Ultimately, we envision a more open and programmable financial system that can be naturally embedded into a wide range of industries and services, creating a more productive economy with significantly less friction. 5. Shape the face of a product during the 0→1 phase As a core member of a new business initiative, you will be involved from the early stages in building components, UX frameworks, and frontend foundations. Gain hands-on experience with modern frontend technologies You will work in an environment that actively adopts modern technologies such as React, tRPC, Vite, Chakra UI, and Storybook. Work closely with backend and blockchain engineering teams Through close collaboration across technical domains, you can deepen your overall engineering capabilities and develop a broader full-stack perspective. 6. Services You Will Work On You will participate in launching new services that support on-chain financial infrastructure, including tokenized deposits and smart contract-based payment solutions. 7. Technology Stack and Development Environment Frontend TypeScript / Vite / Biome / ESLint / Vitest / Storybook / MSW / Sentry, etc. Backend Go Infrastructure AWS (CDK / Lambda / Aurora / Kinesis, etc.) 8. Team Structure You will work as part of a cross-functional product development team consisting of Product Managers, business planning members, Tech Leads, Frontend Engineers, Backend Engineers, Blockchain Engineers, and other specialists. 9. Required Qualifications Candidates must have all of the following experience as an engineer. Frontend Development Experience developing web applications using TypeScript Hands-on development experience with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Svelte Experience designing and implementing UI components Experience integrating with external APIs such as REST APIs or GraphQL Experience implementing at least one type of testing: unit, integration, or E2E Development Process Experience working in a team-based development environment using Git Experience developing with CI/CD pipelines Experience creating technical documentation Language Business-level Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N1 Preferred Qualifications Development Environment and Technology Stack Production development experience using React and TypeScript Experience building design systems or UI component libraries Experience with performance tuning and optimization Experience designing frontend systems with security considerations Knowledge of the financial industry or blockchain technologies Knowledge of animation and interactive UI implementation Ideal Candidate Profile Strong interest in user experience and delivering meaningful product value Proactive in improving UI/UX and development efficiency Able to collaborate effectively with team members and drive problem-solving initiatives Comfortable working through uncertainty and exploring the best solutions through hands-on execution Open to learning and continuously adopting new technologies and approaches
