About Abbeal Abbeal is an international IT & engineering consulting firm (France, Japan, Canada) placing senior engineers on high-impact programs. Through Abbeal, ensure the avionics system safety of a passenger eVTOL for a Japanese flying-car maker in Aichi. Context You will ensure the avionics system safety of a passenger eVTOL (electric vertical take-off & landing aircraft) for a Japanese flying-car maker. Safety-critical environment: ARP4761 / ARP4754A, DO-178C / DO-254. Full on-site in the Aichi (Nagoya) area. English is the working language; Japanese is not required (no JLPT requirement). Your Mission Lead avionics system safety activities (ARP4761 / ARP4754A) Perform SFHA / SSA / FTA and safety assessments (CAFTA or equivalent) Support V&V activities in a DO-178C / DO-254 context Work closely with systems, hardware and software teams Profile Senior avionics / system-safety engineer (5+ years, ideally 8–15) Strong ARP4761 / ARP4754A and DO-178C / DO-254 background Hands-on with SFHA / SSA / FTA (CAFTA or equivalent) Fluent English; Japanese not required Location and Setup Aichi (Nagoya area) — full on-site. Long-term mission; freelance or Abbeal permanent. Hired and supported by Abbeal (visa sponsorship + Mobbeal expat support). Indicative range ¥8M–¥16M/year depending on experience.
