Descrição
About Kanaria Tech Kanaria Tech is a Tokyo-based frontier physical AI lab building the core AI capabilities for physically embodied intelligence. Our flagship technology is the Kanaria Robotic Model (KRM), an embodiment-agnostic, multimodal foundation model that gives robots socially aware and anticipatory navigation. We are starting with AMRs and will extend to other embodiments over time. About the Robotics Operations Team The Robotics Operations team takes KRM NavBox (our KRM-powered deployment-ready navigation system) into the real world. It deploys KRM NavBox onto robots, integrates it into diverse client robot platforms, and leads the ongoing operational work that keeps deployed systems running reliably in the field. It also benchmarks the end product on robot hardware and feeds insights back to the Physical AI and Platform teams. The Role We are looking for a hands-on robotics operations engineer to own field deployment and integration. You will get KRM NavBox working on client robots and run day-to-day operations (closing the loop back to our Platform and Physical AI teams). What You'll Do Deploy KRM NavBox into robots and integrate it into a range of client robot platforms. Build the robot platform when a project requires it (either from scratch or on a base supplied by a hardware partner). Perform hardware / software integration and sensor calibration. Lead ongoing operations: monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and field service for deployed systems. Diagnose issues across the hardware / software boundary and drive them to resolution. Partner with OEM and end-customer teams during rollout and operation. Feed field learnings back to the Platform and Physical AI teams to improve KRM and KRM NavBox. What We're Looking For Hands-on experience integrating robotics hardware and software in real deployments. Experience building or bringing up robot hardware — mechanical/electrical assembly, wiring, and compute/sensor integration. Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and software domains. Familiarity with ROS / ROS 2 and robot systems. Willingness to travel to client sites (primarily within Japan). Nice to Have Experience with mobile robots in production environments. Customer-facing or technical field-engineering experience.
