Read more **Responsibilities:** Design, implement, and maintain clean, modular UI code and prefabs in Unity (UGUI) Work closely with UX/UI designers and product teams to bring mockups to life with smooth interactions and animations as defined by a clear GDD and spec Connect UI with gameplay, systems, and backend logic Proactively optimize UI layout, responsiveness, and performance to ensure a seamless player experience Requirements 5-8 years of experience in game development, with a strong focus on Unity UI Deep understanding of Unity’s UI systems: UGUI, Canvas system, layout groups, anchors, and resolution scaling Strong understanding of Unity’s architecture, including best practices for MonoBehaviours, ScriptableObjects, Prefabs, Prefab Variants and Addressables Comfortable working in a live service environment with frequent updates and UI iteration A proactive mindset and pride in taking ownership of features from start to finish Can work autonomously, but communicate clearly, and collaborate with other engineers, designers and artists Nice to haves While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following.
