**About the company:** Money Forward Minato-ku, Tokyo Money Forward is a fintech startup delivering tools to visualize and improve both individuals'​ and companies'​ financial health. **Responsibilities:** We are looking for SDET (Developer in Test) in our CQO Office. Improvement of test coverage for unit testing Assurance of upstream quality using metrics Automation of testing using tools like Selenium or Playwright Automation of non-functional testing using Chaos Engineering and similar methods Prototype and validate new approaches through proof of concept, graduate successful ideas into production-grade. Optimize performance of tools and pipelines to minimize execution time and infrastructure cost. Track and report quality metrics (coverage, defect trends, CFR, MTBF/MTTR, p95 latency, error rate) via dashboards and concise write-ups. Research emerging technologies in quality engineering and recommend practical adoption paths. Requirements Minimum 3 years development experience, or test automation experience using scripting languages Holder of ISTQB AL certification or equivalent knowledge Bachelor’s degree in Information Processing, Computer Science, or equivalent (e.g., Information Technology Engineer Examination, etc.) Experience building developer tools, test frameworks, or internal platforms; familiarity with version control and CI/CD. Ability to work autonomously and in cross-functional teams; excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Able to communicate effectively with engineers of different nationalities that are based at various overseas locations.
