About the role You'll be the backbone of our office IT operations, supporting Japan and Global teams across multiple locations. You'll ensure our teams stay connected and productive while driving automation initiatives that scale with our growth. This role combines hands-on technical support with strategic process improvement, making it perfect for someone who loves solving problems and building efficient systems. Duties & Responsibilities Oversee day to day IT operations, help desk management, and infrastructure stability. Manage onboarding and offboarding, access control, and asset management. Administer enterprise systems, including Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft 365, and internal tools. Execute projects such as hardware refreshes, new service integrations and infrastructure improvements. Maintain and enhance the IT documentation base. Proactively identify and implement improvements to IT processes and services. Qualifications Must Have Strong knowledge of macOS and Windows environments Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace, Slack, Microsoft 365 or similar enterprise tools Experience in IT troubleshooting across end-user devices and enterprise systems, including incident management, root-cause analysis, and remediation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Japanese Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail Ability to work independently and proactively with initiative to drive improvements in a remote-first environment Basic security and compliance awareness relevant to IT operations. Fluent Japanese language skills, Business-level English skills required. Preferred Knowledge of identity management systems (Okta, OneLogin, Atlassian (Jira + Confluence etc.) Familiarity with MDM solutions for device management Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms Understanding of network administration and security Using Scripting language (Bash or PowerShell) will be a plus! Language skills (Both Japanese / English required) Japanese (Business - Fluent) with written & verbal communication English (Business level) with written & verbal communication
