Read more **Responsibilities:** Design, build, and optimize data processing systems using Python or Java. Develop, maintain, and extend scalable data pipelines from diverse sources. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, bringing innovative ideas to life. Prepare data for operational and analytical purposes. Solve complex challenges independently and in agile teams. Communicate in English with your team and in Japanese with customers. Requirements 5+ years experience of software development (Python, SQL or similar language). 5+ years experience of data engineering, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). 2+ years experience of big data technologies like Spark, Flink, or Hive. Strong computer science fundamentals and experience with distributed systems. Excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese. Nice to haves While not specifically required, tell us if you have any of the following. Experience with Databricks. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools.
