Wonderful Nature Village is located in Akiruno, in the western part of Tokyo. They’ve been hosting an annual hydrangea festival for over 45 years now, and the event showcases the beauty of around 15,000 flowers in an impressive 60 varieties. The main drawcard here is a hillside filled with several thousand Annabelle snowball hydrangeas, which are known for their fluffy white flower clusters. Because of the hilly nature of the venue, visitors are recommended to wear comfortable footwear to the event. Admission to the festival is priced at ¥850 for adults; those who are elementary school age and under receive free admission.
