Tainai Sakura Festival

Tainai City, located in Niigata Prefecture, falls into this category, but the Tainai Sakura Festival aims to bring attention to this hidden gem of a cherry blossom destination. The festival offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy numerous cherry trees in full bloom, stage performances, food vendors, and even a haunted house – a unique addition to the typical sakura festival experience. Note that the festival hours vary between the two days: on Saturday, it runs from 4 pm to 9 pm, and on Sunday it runs from 9 am to 2 pm.
