Nagushiyama Azalea Festival

Nagushiyama is a mountain located in Sasebo, Nagasaki Prefecture, standing at 234 meters tall. This mountain is a popular destination for nature enthusiasts and photographers because of its stunning panoramic views of the cityscape, harbor, and surrounding mountains.

During the spring season, Nagushiyama becomes even more picturesque with the blooming of thousands of azalea bushes in shades of pink, red, and white. To celebrate the vibrant flowers, an annual festival is held, which has been running for over 40 years now.
