Cosmos Alley in Shinshiro, Aichi

Each year from around early to mid-October, Aichi’s Shinshiro Cosmos Alley is filled with the beauty of around 350,000 cosmos in bloom in numerous varieties. During the blooming season, they also hold a fun scarecrow competition here, with numerous amusing entrants on display. Visitors are able to pick a few of the cosmos flowers as a souvenir from their visit or try to make their way through a cosmos maze. There are typically numerous vendors selling food, drink, and local produce, and for those with dogs you’ll be pleased to know that the event is pet-friendly.
