- ALTIA CENTRAL is now accepting applications from all candidates to join our team of fantastic ALTs from October 2026 and beyond in cities and towns across Okayama Prefecture.

- \r\nPlease note that due to the processing time required for the Certificates of Eligibility (COE) and visa applications, we may have to consider overseas applicants for later starting positions.
- \r\n
- \r\nSince mid-year positions can often open up at unexpected times, we are also looking to fill a few Standby positions. Standby ALTs need to be completely flexible in their preferences and ready to go into any location that might open up at anytime. Standby ALTs are paid full salary from the start, even if they are still waiting for their placement to open up. We supply normal training and accommodation as well during that interim period.

- \r\nTo work as an ALT in Japan, overseas applicants must have the following to receive a valid Instructor Visa from Immigration through our company. Please note the following requirements:

Note: Japan Immigration does not provide an official list of native English-speaking countries. Applicants are responsible for confirming whether their country qualifies.
